The characters in NSW01 fit together compactly and are all the same height, without ascenders or descenders (with the exception of the cap Q) to break the line.
First drawn for the ‘Voyages’ special issue of The New York Times Magazine in 2015, NSW01 has been extensively reworked for its 2.0 release in 2021, with assistance from Diana Ovezea.
